Interestingly, after writing this review, we found ourselves using Fiverr more frequently for our own business. We realized you can hire a freelancer for nearly anything on Fiverr (some of the gigs are quite surprising), and this can save both time and money.

On Fiverr, assessing a freelancer’s reliability and quality is quick and straightforward. Simply check their seller level, displayed near their username, to gauge their track record. This feature helps you swiftly filter out unproven freelancers, saving time. A seller’s level is based on factors like delivery speed, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
Here are the four seller levels:
New Seller – Every freelancer starts here. It indicates they are relatively new or inexperienced.
Level One Seller – After 60 days and at least 10 successfully completed gigs with good ratings, freelancers can reach this level.
Level Two Seller – Sellers achieve this after 120 days, delivering 50 well-rated, on-time orders.
Top-Rated Seller – This top tier is a strong indicator of reliability. These freelancers have been active for at least 180 days, completed over 100 orders (earning at least $20,000), and maintained high customer satisfaction.

Pro Verified, High-Quality Experts
If you’re willing to spend a little more, Fiverr Pro gives you access to the platform’s top freelancers. Fiverr evaluates and approves Pro Verified sellers according on their training, expertise, and level of service. It’s reassuring to know that these freelancers have been vetted, offering a reliable way to ensure high-quality results.
Are Pro Sellers worth the extra cost? In my opinion, yes. While not the cheapest option, it’s still more affordable than hiring a large company or employee. You’ll notice a significant jump in quality—Pro Verified sellers are more experienced and deliver more polished, professional work. To avoid unreliable freelancers, narrowing your search to “pro services” is a foolproof strategy.
And not all Pro Sellers are pricey. In various categories, I found many reasonably priced options without much trouble.
Options If Things Go Wrong
Fiverr is packed with talented freelancers, but occasionally you might encounter one who doesn’t meet expectations. Fortunately, if you pay for a gig and the seller fails to deliver, there are several ways to resolve the issue.
If a seller is late and unresponsive for 24 hours, you can cancel the order and get a refund. If the delivered work doesn’t meet your agreed-upon terms, Fiverr’s Resolution Center can help you resolve the issue. If that doesn’t work, you can always reach out to Customer Support for assistance.
Fiverr also provides an additional layer of security. Once you mark an order as completed, your payment enters a “pending” phase for 14 days (7 days for Top-Rated sellers). During this time, if you’re unhappy with the service, you can file a dispute. After this period, however, the payment will be fully transferred to the freelancer.

Many freelancers offer turnaround times of 48 hours or less, and you often have the option to pay extra for even quicker delivery.
