After answering a few basic questions about your logo preferences, the AI kicks in. You can continue clicking “Generate” until you find a logo that suits you.
You’ll see options that match your input, but you might also come across some logos that seem unrelated to your preferences.
Once you select a base logo, you can fully customize it—change the fonts, icons, colors, and even add gradients. While you can choose custom colors, the gradient options are somewhat limited.
Looka’s restrictions become apparent when it comes to size and positioning. You can pick a layout and adjust the font and icon size to an extent, but these adjustments are limited, and you can’t freely move elements around. Positioning and size are controlled by sliders, with everything arranged relative to the layout and other logo components.
With the Basic plan, you get a single PNG file of your logo. The Premium plan, however, offers scalable formats like SVG, EPS, and PDF, which are ideal for printing and resizing.

If you go with Looka, I’d recommend at least the Premium plan for access to scalable file formats. Scalable logos aren’t just for printing large-scale ads; they’re also essential for 4K video and modern devices like iPhones with Retina displays.
(For those unfamiliar, Retina screens require higher-resolution images to look sharp because Apple insists on using more of our bandwidth.)
